A new Norwegian tech site launched today - www.tek.no. This is a co-operation between the tech sites akam.no (cameras), Amobil.no (mobile phones), Gamer.no (gaming) and Hardware.no (you gessed it - hardware related stuff).

Their goal is to establish tek.no as the best Norwegian portal for technology. It will function as a joint site for editorial stuff across the existing sites, and all traffic will lead to the respectively sites. Besides the editorial content they already co-operates on [in manys opinion] the best price guide Norway has to offer when it comes to hardware, mobile phones and other nifty things.

They had a launch party at Stratos tonight which Christoph attended (he took the picture). With the combination of his Nokia N95 and qik.com (same thing as Bambuser) he streamed some of the tek.no demo.

As I wrote over at christoph.no I’m attending Gulltaggen 2008 tomorrow at Oslo Spektrum.

Especially the conference and the speakers will be interesting. Just to mention a few Will Witehorn is going to speak about entrepreneurship, Shashi Seth, Head of monetization at YouTube is going to speak about how YouTube is going to earn money in the future and Webby Award winner Jonathan Harris. I’m going with Håvard and some others from work, Jens is out on his road show regarding the new revision of the layout on the local newspapers, so he’s not attending. Hopefully Håvard, me or both will write some notes from the speakers during the conference here.
